Morgan starred on a video that was about AIDS education and prevention, Safe Sex for Men and Women. A portion of the profits were given to American Foundation for AIDS Research. Morgan is a member of the Entertainment Industry AIDS Task Force. Morgan led numerous fund-raising initiatives to combat the disease and testified before the Congressional Special Committee regarding AIDS Education. Morgan is a member of the Board of Governors of APLA. The former Surgeon General C. Everett Koop has been asked to substitute for him at AIDS celebrations and she's been the host of an AIDS Awareness Special with news anchorman Steve Bell. Ted Koppell and Morgan have been on Nightline twice to discuss AIDS. Morgan has been nominated for one of the Emmy recipient for her role in Diane English's Murphy Brown Special Episode written specifically for Morgan. This spring, Morgan costarred with Joan Rivers as Your Money or Your Wife on ABC television. The summer began with Murder At The PTA Luncheon. The show, Von Zerneck/Sertner also included Cindy Williams and Marla Gabbs. Her next film was Harmony Gold produced Sherlock Holmes and the Leading Lady with Christopher Lee and Patrick McNee. Morgan was also in the thriller of psychological suspense which was produced exclusively by the USA Network garnering one of the most impressive ratings in the network's history.
